Typhoon Sendong is the worst nightmare in Mindanao this Christmas
Typhoon Sendong has hit Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Negros Occidental and other parts of Mindanao and Visayas. It was unexpected and very tragic that the death toll has reached over 650 with more than 800 still missing according to the latest news reports.
Sendong has hit the Mindanao last December 16 (Friday). The most affected areas were in Mahayahay, Bayug Island and Hinaplanon. There flash flood occurred in the midst of their sleep which most of the cause of death was due to drowning.
It’s really so sad to see photos of affected families in the news. It’s heartbreaking. Hope the government will do an immediate action for this problem. Let’s all pray the soul of dead and their love ones who are trying to recover for this worst nightmare brought by "Bagyong Sendong".
